Our client – a big international sports retail company, came to us with a need to optimize their on-premise ordering workflow. The way their process was currently organized, was operational, yet to achieve their corporate goals, to enhance their in-house communication and to better the customer experience, they decided that it was time for a more effective and agile order management system.
After thorough business analysis of the communication and ordering processes, R&D Solutions provided them with a digital cloud transformation solution. Our AWS experts developed custom architecture and design of a cloud based mobile order management solution, leveraging AWS cloud and Android native platform.
During the process of cloud architecture and development, we have identified that we could address one more challenge our client had. Since our client’s customers had to wait in the store for their orders, a sense of high frustration occurred with the lack of live data on their order status. To fix this issue we added web based reporting functionality to close this informational gap in the ordering process and to increase customers’ satisfaction.
The Customers: The project eliminates customers’ frustration as there is no information gap and the progress of orders is easily followed. The overall customer service is enriched increasing their satisfaction.
